Thanks for voting us #2 in the state of Montana. Pitch your tent or park your R.V. or camper, we have over 420 acs on our 5 fence post with our neighbors, yet only a few minutes to Whitefish or Kalispell. The upper camping site is next to the fire pit in the front yard next to the trees on the grass in the front yard and only a 75 yard walk from parking on the opposite side of the house.
Our front yard has 130+miles of views of the entire flathead valley and the contential devide. You can see both ski resorts and into Glacier park. 2nd camping site is below the house in the woods next on the creek, we have 11 small seasonal water falls in the creek and you must hike 150 feet down the road to camp at the base next to the bridge or cross a small foot bridge over the creek into the trees to set up camp. Our house was a mail order house that was shipped out on a train car from back east over 112 years ago. Lots of character, privacy and sits at the end of our 1/4 mile long paved driveway yet less than 15 mins drive to both towns and a short drive across the valley to Glacier National Park. The water in our well is 460 ft deep and has the best tasting water known to man, so much so that we always take our own water when we travel.lots of our friends in the valley come out and fill up there drinking water jugs from our well before going on trips. In the basement with private access to the back of the house is a brand new 1600 sq. ft of living space completed June of 2019 is full bathroom, livingroom and a brand new kitchen along with refrigerator, sink and oven, dining room. The basement area will be comunnal-use for everyone staying here at our place. We do have a large overgrown puppy named "Moose" and four cats that come and go through the basement and live in the basement, just to let you know. We do not have R.V. electric yet? Last year our campers and guest, complimented more on moose than anything else. Moose is a very friendly dog. We enjoy sharing the off the path local haunts to see and do.

I loved this campsite! I hung my hammock next to the creek and feel asleep to the sound of rushing water. The site was very peaceful and quiet, but also included access to wifi and to a shower, sink, and bathroom. It also offers views of Glacier National Park and other surrounding mountains.
Kip and Shirley were amazing hosts! The site had a stunning view and they went above and beyond as welcoming and helpful hosts. I hope to head back and stay with them again soon.
We very much enjoyed staying in this campsite. With 3 kids in tow, I was concerned about finding a safe spot a bit off the beaten path so they would have room to roam. Kip and Shirley's place was perfect. My boys loved their dogs, the nearby creek, the firepit, and the swingset and trampoline.
The site is about 45 minutes from Glacier NP and there are many other nearby attractions for outdoorsy types. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and our attentive hosts. Would definitely recommend...
This is a great place to set up camp. Awesome views, quiet, clean, and easy access to bathroom in the basement. Great location in proximity to GNP and surrounding towns. Shirley and Kip are super nice and helpful. Would love to return!
Beautiful views and amazing hosts!
Kip and Shirley are amazing hosts! They are so down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. They were not only so accommodating and so welcoming but extremely helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area and directions on how to get there! They’re hospitality was above and beyond and we felt so comfortable staying with them! They’re new kitchen and bathroom area is awesome too-It has everything you’d need. Our dog also had a blast with their sweet, friendly dog, Moose.
They’re property is set in the most beautiful spot with over 170 miles of mountain range views...it’s incredible! We would highly recommend and will definitely come back!
Kip and Shirley we're the cherry on top of our trip. True to the Montana reputation I've heard, they're ultra friendly and masters at hospitality. The hot coffee and bread with butter and jam in the morning was a cute and welcomed surprise. They're dog Moose is another reason to stay there, so much dog therapy! Other than the kitchen stove/oven not working their place was a delight and I'd recommend.
I can’t say enough about this spot. For one, it’s gorgeous. The views across the valley are incredible. But Kip and Shirley make the place shine even further. Staying inside a national park is a great experience. But the 45 minute drive to Glacier was worth it every day. The spot was beautiful and the family was so welcoming and gracious and generous. I loved camping here and I’d be happy to come back.
Kip and Shirley were great hosts! Their spot outside Kalispell is gorgeous and secluded yet easy to find.
We opted for the site down the hill by the creek which was perfect as it had a little more shade and allowed everyone to “try” and sleep in after a late arrival. The amenities are a nice addition when you have kiddos and dogs!
Will definitely be back.
Kip and Shirley were great hosts! I loved how quiet and off the beaten path things were, relatively close to Glacier National Park. Would definitely stay again in the future!
