I purchased this property with money left me by my mother on her death. I'd been looking to buy land since I was a young woman. It took half my life to find this but it is my sanctuary. It has healed me to be surrounded by Nature and I hope you feel that while you visit!

Camping under a truly big sky
Our stay at Rosalie Ranch was our first Hipcamp stay ever - and the experience couldn't have been better! (My two boys listed the stay as the best during our 10-day trip.) Lori is a fantastic host. She was very communicative from the booking on and gave great directions, and it was nice to be welcomed in such a friendly way after a long day of driving! (Side note: Don't forget to check out Lori's lavender products!) The property is peaceful, with stunning mountain views.

100% Lavender - 1000% Lovely!!!!!!!
Look. I can't really stress this enough. You WANT to stay here. Period. On our incredibly long, cross country road trip, we were looking at all sorts of places and we chose Rosalie Ranch based off of the great reviews yes, but ALSO, because we saw that Lori responded personally to each one. And we thought.... this place looks great, this woman sounds lovely, and hey, we can even get some fresh lavender products in the process. And boy oh boy, were we blown away by Lori's gorgeous grounds, bright spirit, and warm hospitality. She walked up from her home, with her sunhat dawned on her head and showed us to our campsite upon arrival. As we were exploring the rolling hills of her property, Lori found us and showed us the other aspects of her land - the solar powered water pump, the well, the compostable toilets and spiral shower, the tiny houses, the lavender field, the barn/lavender boutique - and then we stood for about an hour talking and laughing as the sun set! It was truly magical. We had NO idea that this would be the place it was - maybe somewhere in our heart of hearts we knew it would be special - but to be there in person was just BEYOND. Definitely book more than one night as you are passing through. The night sky is unreal. The surrounding mountains are majestic. And you'll find deer and birds frolicking through the wildflowers and foliage on her property. You are encircled by so much beauty. And Lori is a treasure of a human with which to commune. She knows her own land and those that surround it, and will be more than willing to point you in the right direction for exploration. We will most definitely be returning at some point and only wish we could have stayed longer this time around. This is seriously the best Hipcamp experience we have had thus far, and left loaded with lavender delights for ourselves, our friends and family.

Off Grid Peace and Quiet
Highly recommended! Lori is an excellent Hipcamp host and her lavender farm is the perfect place to spend a few nights off grid. Lori welcomed me on arrival and showed me to my campsite and around her property, she also gave me recommendations of a few hikes and activities nearby to visit during my stay. She has a few different camp sites you can use, depending on your camping set up. The sites are well spread out so there’s plenty of peace and quiet and privacy and as a woman road-tripping on my own, I felt very safe my entire stay. You’d never find this place on your own, but it’s actually really conveniently located just a few miles from the main road about equidistant between Kalispell and Missoula and Lori provides detailed but easy to follow directions. Lori’s lavender farm is a great place to relax and enjoy nature, expect to see lots of wildlife - birds, bees, butterflies, deer and more. Oh yea and the Mountain views aren’t too shabby either!

True Montana Experience
Staying on Lori's property was a really great experience! You get the true Montana experience here - and make sure you check out some of Lori's great Lavender products while you're there. I purchased a sleeping mask full of lavender and it had me sleeping very soundly during the following week camping in various places. Great host, great place - highly recommend to anyone passing through the area for a private, tranquil, and beautiful experience. Thanks Lori!

Beautiful One-Of-A-Kind Experience
Staying at Lori's farm was hands down my favorite experience of visiting Montana for the first time. Her farm was breathtakingly beautiful, private, and full of wonderful views, natural fragrances and wildlife. The view of the mountains in the area are spectacular and the sunset was one to remember! Lori was also the perfect host, providing us with enough firewood and kindle (that even included lavender and sage from her farm), local tips & information along with so much charm and warmth to make us feel super welcome. Lori was an absolute joy to speak with and we ended up buying a bunch of products from her farm, all of which were of the utmost quality. It's obvious that Lori cares about her farm and her guests and staying here was a trip that we will not soon forget! Easily the best Hipcamp experience I've had to date.

BOOK NOW BOOK NOW BOOK NOW
Stop looking. Book this spot. Lori is a wonderfully generous, smart and funny gal! Traveling as a solo female, I immediately felt SAFE and at home here, which is a BIG PLUS. It stormed the night I stayed but this sweetheart came and drove her truck up to my tent spot so I could have the option to sleep in the covered bed of the truck if I wanted. I would a million times stay here again. If youre going round Missoula area or up to GNP, or anywhere in MT really, STAY HERE!! Plus she has a lavendar shop which has the best stuff! Lavender is proven to be a stress/anxiety relief so stop worrying and book here!!
