Snuggled between the city limits of a quaint rural Montana town and the rushing Boulder River, we have about an acre of undeveloped land on which you may pitch your tent or hang a hammock. You will share a campfire pit and a warm shower with perhaps a few other campers. Simple, rustic, peaceful. There are several better than average eateries in town. Easy access to the river for fishing and floating. Located at the foot of the Crazy Mountains and on the doorstep of Yellowstone Park, the area has many wonderful day trips and hikes if you want adventure. Or hang a hammock by the river and read a book. We have deer, sandhill cranes and other small wildlife as well as a little flock of orphan lambs which we raise from April to July.

My absolute favorite thing about the grounds is the camp dog. He'll follow you absolutely everywhere. I wish I had the extra time to play fetch with him as much as he wanted to be played with. Besides the dog, the cabins are very spacious. The one I stayed in had a desk, and it was great to be able to sit down and write at night. The river runs behind the grounds, but was at flood stage during my stay, which pushed me from a tent sight to a cabin site. I was wonderful to be able to hear the water rushing while I was in bed at night. Overall a great place.
