Pitch your tent or sling your hammock just below the Continental Divide Trail while overlooking the view of the Great Plains via the Rocky Mountain Front. Visit Big Sky Country where your mountain Magic begins as you leave your former reality behind you will be transported to tranquility and serenity with a Rocky Mountain flare. Stargaze and nestle in to your cocoon in time to see one of the most gorgeous sunrise backdrops in North America. This is a Primitive campsite that has a gorgeous view that makes the Primitive location the reason for the winding 45 minute trek via a community rocky road that winds through switchbacks as you near the crest of the Divide. The primitive campsites are nestled amongst a private property system that is adjacent to public lands that are landlocked in the area. Elk, mule deer, white tail, pears, and mountain lion all live in the area including sometimes on the property itself. Unfortunately, scheduling and work conflicts do not allow me to be on site personally most of the year. However, as a host I hope to be there part of October parts of November and periodically throughout the year. If you are planning a visit during a time I will not be located on site please request my personal contact information and I can go with you direct or give me a message so that it’s very very clear that you understand how to get to the location the address will get you there with most navigation systems.. However, I could also send a map with directions. The pin on the map does not specify the exact location however it is on the roadway on the way up due to worries about Ffl’s with a pinpointed location given publicly. So please contact me for a pin point map and directions
