The property is beautiful and Cindy was super welcoming and showed me around. Simple site, absolutely wonderful. There were eagles nesting across the ranch and I could hear the river.
Thanks again Cindy!
Gorgeous, accessible and peaceful!
Even though I booked at the last minute, Cindy was prompt, informative and helpful at every step of the way. Cindy and Mark’s farm is within easy biking distance of a swimming hole and Thompson Falls, with alpine lake hiking close by. Picturesque and also quiet part of Western Montana. Best farm stay so far.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet ranch
Beautiful ranch land with ample space for each campsite. We had power and tasty well water. The port-a-potty was very clean and well-maintained. The swimming hole was a short drive away and absolutely beautiful (a bit chilly, but we made it in!).
There was one other campsite in use the first day we were there, but we had lots of space between us and it felt like we were on our own. Otherwise, we actually were!
Hosts were wonderful. Provided lots of great info about what to do around town and were very generous with their space.
We would love to stay here again.
First time sleeping under the stars
The location was great, just a 15 minute walk across the foot bridge into town. We walked into town for coffee each morning and picked up some souvenirs at the Sunflower Art Gallery. Cindy was a great help getting us settled, providing firewood, and a stack of recommendations for town. You can tell she loves sharing their space with people and we felt very welcome. Sleeping under the stars without our rain fly on the tent was absolutely a highlight of our entire roadtrip. You just don't see stars like that in Seattle. We would definitely come back!
Great place to camp
Cindy was a great host, very welcoming and helpful! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and has a horse named Ben. Overall a great experience, we just wish we had more time to check out some of Cindy's suggestions.
Wow we LOVED our stay... only wish it was longer. What an ideal place to retreat. We so enjoyed the Mountain View’s, star filled sky, the resident horse Ben and the safe space for kids to roam. The sort walk to the river was an added treat. Cindy is the most delightful host and made the stay all the better.
