Perfect private stay
We were traveling across the country and stopped at Green Acres Ranch for a rest day. It was the perfect remedy for two tired travelers. The site is private and surrounded by meadows and trees. You have a choice of parking on grass or gravel. Easy hookups and a fire pit is provided. Ben the horse is a friendly neighbor. It is also a great spot to take long walks. There is a walk from the camp site into town. Cindy is super nice and informative. We would love to go back and stay longer!
Great overnight; kind/helpful hosts
We stayed with three teenagers (19, 19 & 17) and had a wonderful afternoon & overnight. The campsite was spacious, clean and lovely. We hooked up our R-pod to electric/water and the kids set up a tent on the opposite side of the site. We had plenty of room for fire pit with camp chairs, tables for food, corn hole games etc. between the camper and the tent. It is a peaceful & relaxing location with beautiful scenery. There is a house on the property that is used as a vacation rental as well but there is a barn between the house and the campsite so, though there were other people on the property, the camp space felt totally private (the campsite is beyond the house as you drive in). Cindy was great; sweet and very helpful - both facilitating details of our stay and sharing advice/information about our stop the next morning, biking the Hiawatha trail. We hope to return!
Peaceful welcoming rejuvenating
Cindy was a sweetheart. Pointed out fishing an hiking trails and the bicycle path. Also suggested a great place to eat.
The camping spot in the field was perfect, well away from the three other campers. The view of the mountains was very relaxing. Her well water was delicious!!
In all I would say a 10 out of 10. We will be back.
My new favorite place!
Just what I needed to clear my head for the upcoming harvest season.
Great place and you will not find nicer people. I hope to go back in the fall and hopefully visit annually.
Cindy’s campsite is just lovely! Super friendly welcome from Cindy and lots of ideas of what to do locally including the wonderful swimming hole! Fire pit, lots of space, amazing views - not much more we could ask for! We’ll be back sometime :)
The Cindy was very nice. The property was gorgeous. There were a lot of activities to keep us busy. Water and swimming was close by. There was not a lot of shade so bring shade structures for the day. Fire pit was a community fire pit a short walk away.
