Description

Bar Gulch Cabin was originally built in the 1930s as a base for mining operations. But, alas, even the best laid plans don’t always pan out. The cabin has been a recreation haven since its inauguration, and we couldn’t be happier about it! It keeps watch over an open and grassy meadow that’s surrounded by forest and tons of other landscapes (rivers, valleys, subalpine terrain, ridges, lakes…it’s all here). When you aren’t frolicking around in the wilderness, kick back and enjoy cabin life. There’s a skylight to let the sun in, a rad antique cook stove, and even an old school wood stove for heat. The kitchen has some cookware and cooking tools, but there’s no electricity or indoor plumbing. When it comes to water, be sure to plan ahead, and don’t forget propane canisters for the stove and lanterns.
