NOTE: This site does not have all of the amenities and ease of access as a formal RV Park with lots of sites and power, water and septic to each site. Smaller RV's work well, especially if you do not need power, there are lots of options. However, powered sites are limited and very large RV's may have difficulty with ease of access and precise leveling. We had mainly tent campers the last few years, but now with more RV's coming we want to make sure we are clear, it does not have the infrastructure of a proper RV park. If you have a very large RV that needs constant power, the options are limited.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Golden Skyfall is quiet and relaxing. We stayed at the Mountain View site (all the way up the hill), and couldn't have been more pleased. There were 360-degree mountain views, golden hay fields, and peace and quiet. Nick and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. A few dogs live on the property with Nick and his family, and are super friendly. We stayed here while passing through Bozeman (a quick 20 min away) on a road trip and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. While we arrived to stormy skies, the morning brought sun and we were able to walk around the property and take in the good weather and views. Thanks, Nick!
If you are not afraid to drive up the dirt drive (just about the LIMIT I would take my 27 foot RV)-- you are rewarded with the MOST peaceful and awesome views of the SURROUNDING hills and mountains!
Nick is a great host. There's lots of hiking available throughout the property. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the site. Nice views from the site at the top of the hill. This was our first experience with hipcamp and we are looking forward to using it in the future!
This site was beautiful, on top of a ridge in the middle, literally, of huge golden hay fields. The views were amazing in every direction, and would have been even better if the smoke from the wildfires had not settled into the areal. Even so it was nice, very private and relaxing. I will definitely be going back in the near future. Not expecting much I arrived to find a gas grill, a clean outhouse (big plus), and even a couple tables and chairs on raised platforms. Can't wait to come back and see all the surrounding mountains in clear visibility!
OMG, this is what camping should be, an experience, your experience! Solitude, stunning views, even the outhouse was a work of art, never thought I’d ever photograph an outhouse. Passing T-storm just before arriving, they’re not kidding about slick road if wet, very muddy but worth it. Total score, will return for sure
The property is beautiful! A very cool and new experience being at the top of a hill in open farmland.
The weather was pretty brutal for us, extremely windy and rainy, but luckily we were in our Van - tent would have been rough.
