The reservoir is the 10th highest dam in the U.S., and it’s as large as it is high. Boating is popular here, along with swimming, fishing, and simply staring at the water wondering "How did I get so lucky?!" While Hungry Horse has more than enough to keep you occupied, you can also round up the crew and take a trip to Glacier National Park, which is an easy 18 miles away.
