Description
There’s nothing better than getting out into the middle of nowhere for some good old fashioned fun in nature… unless it’s also FREE! Yup, Beaver Creek campground is totally free, so you’ll have plenty of cash left for essentials like s’mores and craft beer (might as well splurge). Just be sure to safely store all of your food, garbage, and anything else a bear might be interested in. It’s the safe way to camp, but it’s also one of the rules out here. Each of the sites is less than 100 feet away from the river, surrounded by an old growth stand of shade-lending trees. If you roll up during the middle of the week you’ll almost always be able to snag a spot. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, or a way to treat water from the river.
