VanGoBoon Bozeman

Dry campsites for overnight stays for vans. Sites are on concrete slabs so mostly level. Grass areas with trees. Great site if you like trains! An important part of Montana’s commerce is transportation by rail. Some highway noise is common.

I arrived after sundown and left at sunrise, but it was easy enough to find. I didn't look close enough for the address, which was on the mailbox. When I woke in the morning, I saw the VanGoBoon branded signage which would have been super easy to see in the daylight. Personally, I didn't mind the train sounds, but if you're a really light sleeper, this might not be the site for you. But, the land was beautiful and was exactly what I needed for my overnight stay. And Daniel was a pleasure to communicate with, and handled my noob questions with grace. :)
No surprises. Daniel was a very responsive and friendly host, and this place is as described. It is right off the highway which makes it very convenient. The train tracks are also close by, but the whistles seemed to stop for the most part at bedtime. My dogs enjoyed meeting the horses, the paint horse in particular was eager for scratches. You won't find great views, privacy or quiet here, but overall this place is great for convenience.
