We loved this camping nook in Lolo, MT! Carmen was an excellent host even confirming our booking a mere hours before we arrived on our way through Montana. She provided clear directions to the campsite, firewood supplies (from kindling to chopped wood), and even offered additional amenities like recycling. It was a very short drive from downtown Missoula, and Carmen even recommended a shortcut for our following morning driving route — which provided beautiful scenery! The campsite provided enough room for our teardrop camper & truck and was dog-friendly. We can’t say enough how enjoyable of an evening we had sitting under the stars by the fire. We would definitely stay here again on our way through Montana.

We didn’t book until dinner time on a Friday night and felt fortunate to get a quick response ( while we enjoyed a flight of beer at the Lolo peak brew pub) - we got great directions and good hiking and travel tips for a gorgeous detour back to hwy 90 that led us past the u we cute Jack Tavern and beautiful horse farms !

Great spot outside Missoula - we loved Carmen and her amazing property, the location was really convenient and we had an amazing time! Lots of room for a truck and tent site.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was nice meeting you as well.
Nice place to stay for a night. Big pile of firewood in a shed was very nice! Nice separate area for us to be. Not exactly a "hideaway," as it is squarely in a residential area and the traffic noise was louder than you'd think for a "hideaway." But, a nice place to stay!
Just make sure that Carmen turns off the sprinklers -- at least in that area where you'll be parked! It was unpleasant to be woken up at 1am to have two sprinklers jetting water at our trailer until 1:30.....
Perfect camping spot, beautiful property and right along our MC path through Montana
Very private. After being on the road for days it was a nice respite. Carmen recommended an awesome hike just down the road, and a beautiful shortcut for us to get back on the highway in the morning.
Nice shady spot, saw wild turkeys and deer.
Would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at this campsite. It was quiet, peaceful and clean. A rustic site—just what we expected. Perfect for a night on the road
Camp is heavily wooded and peaceful. We saw many wild turkeys on the property which was a treat. The entrance gate is tight (25’ trailer), and site is hard to level on. I would recommend for a smaller camper or those tenting. No bathroom facilities and didn’t see a trash can.
Very private, very quiet. Be aware that there is no garbage can and that you can only get water by asking at the nearby house (no hookup).
