This is the perfect basecamp for Paradise Valley, Northern Yellowstone and Bozeman. So much so...that I extended my time there by two days! The property is convenient, quiet, and has amazing views. Plus...as a bonus...decent cell coverage (ATT 3 bars) for anyone needing access.

Most importantly, however, is the host...Sheila. She is an amazing fount of knowledge regarding the area, the park and local highlights. Wonderfully kind and ready to share information, I cannot say enough nice things about her. She has put real effort into the Hipcamp experience and it shows!

Plus...as an added bonus...a Port-a-let onsite! This can be an added nicety if you are coming off of a series of days in the backcountry.

Just for fun...say hello to the horses, chicken, goats, and one lazy pig (I hope he doesn’t read this...lol!) on the property.

This is an absolute Hipcamp gem!!!

It was so beautiful! Nestled in a an incredible valley right next to the Yellowstone River, this place was amazing. The hosts were so nice, and they had so much literature on the surrounding areas. They were very hospitable! I would definitely camp here again!

This space was so perfect after a long day of being at Yellowstone. The ground was even, the was atmosphere super serene, and the views were truly a sight to behold! Even though it’s a bit off the main interstate, I highly recommend staying at Camp Chicory. It is definitely “primitive” camping, but there’s a convenient port a potty close by. Also, Sheila is a gem—we didn’t get to meet her in person because we got in so late, but she was a great communicator, which made our stay even more wonderful!

Sheila was the kindest host we have had in a long time. The minute we arrived she welcomed us and invited the children to collect some fresh eggs from the chickens and to play with the sweetest goats and ducks. But what captivated us more was the incredible view and sunset . Breathtaking place truly!
I 100 percent recommend staying there while visiting paradise valley !

This is a dream spot. The scenery is magnificent, it is quiet, and it is safe. Sheila was so nice to us and really wanted us to have a chance to learn about her property and way of life outside Livingston.
