A rustic slice of heaven located at the base of the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain Range, where the Custer National Forest, 1 million acres of Federal Wilderness, and a 3,000-acre ranch are your backyard. Easy access to some of the most beautiful hiking you will ever find on State and Federal land. Mountain biking trails and great fishing also nearby. The former mining town of Red Lodge is only 8 miles away on Highway 78. We often grab a couple growlers (64 oz.) of beer at Red Lodge Ales to enjoy with dinner as we watch the sunset over the mountains and the adjacent ranch. Peaceful. Relaxing. 23 pristine acres with ponds. Water & electric on site. 2.5 hrs to Yellowstone National Park via the All American Beartooth Highway. Easy access to the property off the county road and the private road leading to the entrance of the property. There are three camping sites that have access to electricity and numerous boondocking sites for dry tent camping. There is a strong well with good water at the top of the property that is shared among the guests. There are three ponds on the property; two are spring fed. The Stillwater River and East Rosebud & West Rosebud Creeks and hiking trails are close by.  You can hike the East Rosebud trails all the way to Cooke City just outside of Yellowstone if you choose.
