Beautiful campsite. Jack has cleared a very nice space to pitch your tent. He has built a fire ring and stocked the site with wood. Great hiking and close to the river. My 13 year old son kept saying, “Look how beautiful it is, Mom”.
Jack is a super nice guy, a great host. I locked my keys in my car and he came to the site and got them out for me.
Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful piece of property! Jack was kind enough to meet me and assist me in getting my things to camp, showing me around, and was a great host in general. He's happy to share his love of the outdoors with others. The suggestion is 4x4 only, but my Mazda 3 made it down to the campsite just fine since it was dry ground (I waited to see what it looked like on the first ride down with Jack). In addition, he allowed me to borrow a canoe for my stay, which really made it all the better. Great place to swim, fish, and if you're lucky, pick some fresh pawpaws from the riverbank! My dog and I had a great and secluded time, as expected. Hope to come back!
Did not disappoint!
We loved this campsite! My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary, so we were looking for somewhere with more privacy than the average campground. This site is very secluded and private! I was a little disappointed that the water wasn't as close to the camp as we thought, but it was fairly easy to get to. The host was very nice and helpful. We would love to visit here again!! Thanks for a wonderful trip!
The campsite was fantastic. Nice open area for tents. Jack had firewood cut and paddles/life jackets at the site for the canoe. It really was a beautiful property. The water was perfect for swimming. I would recommend this to anyone.
We had a wonderful stay. Jack was an excellent host and was always available if we had a question. The site was in a great area that was very private and the river was just a short walk away. He even has a canoe and life jackets for use! This was our first Hipcamp trip and everything about it was perfect. Would absolutely recommend Jack’s place!!!
Awesome secluded experience!!!
Jack’s place is awesome! Love that he only books one group at a time for a secluded experience. The property is beautiful, the campsite is great and getting out on the river in his canoe was so fun. Jack is an incredible host. Super friendly and very helpful. He helped us haul our stuff to and from the campsite, and came out to repair the canoe after it took on some water. Awesome guy! We made the drive all the way from Texas and we will be back!
