Great place close to jeff city
Really an excellent experience. The yurt was well appointed and beautifully decorated. Louise and Bill were excellent hosts, warm and inviting. All in all a great place to spend the weekend.
Camping and comfort! we’ll be back
What a wonderful place. Our family will be back for sure. Sitting on the deck outside the yurt you truly feel like you are in the trees and have your own private part of the world. The yurt was stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay — including bathrobes to keep you cozy! The area was close to activities for hiking and biking and there is a lovely trail heading down to a stream you can visit if no one else is camping down there. Our hosts were welcoming and quick to respond.
A wonderful gem!
This was an amazing experience. The host were fantastic from booking to arrival. My family loved the location. The yurt was truly magical. We felt at home with every piece of decor. There was so much style, creativity, and thoughtfulness put into this yurt. We made great meals. We had lots of laughs. We made Lifelong memories in just a short weekend. We enjoyed being out of touch with technology and the silence to reboot from a crazy busy life and world! We can not wait to return.
Relaxing, magical stay in the woods
This yurt was such a fun place to spend the night! You feel like you're all alone on the property. It was very quiet and the woods were so peaceful. I worked in the hotel industry for many years so I appreciated all the attention to detail. They have robes (the softest ever!), candles, kitchen appliances and utensils, fire wood, metal skewers for roasting... I could go on. They have thought of everything to make your stay special! The bed is super comfortable and the overall vibe was very chill. The whole place was impeccably clean. The hosts were kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.
Bill was really nice and inviting. The place was really lovley. If you are into the timy house movement this place qill make you want to adopt it. Its located in this little oasis.
What a beautiful experience
What a beautiful experience in the yurt. We hadn’t camped in a while and I wasn’t really looking forward to renting five feet from the next camp site. We found this yurt and thought, Bam! quiet camping, and a bed, and AC. Sold. Then we got there and it was even better. We spent three peaceful, private, relaxing evenings on the deck and there weren’t even blood sucking mosquitoes to chase us indoors. The yurt was a great mix between tent and hotel room. We could still hear all the sounds of nature, at night, and still sleep in the luxury of a clean soft bed. We took a short drive to ride the Katy trail one day and then over to hike the Stone Bridge trails the next day. Oh yeah, there is a great winery down the street with great food. We are already planning our next visit to the yurt.
