Surround yourself amoung the beautiful trees and an abundance of flora and fauna. Large fields, woods and an amazing array of herbs, trees, flowers and wildlife. Pick some fresh chamomile or peppermint for a fresh pot of tea. Arrange with your hosts to learn how to identify and pick fresh herbs including comfrey, nettle, plantain and many more (small scale herbal farm) to hand craft your own tinctures or salves. Relax and watch the horses graze in the pasture as the cardinals and migrating Canadian geese fly by. Lakes and rivers are plentiful in the area for fishing and floating. There are a variety of restaurants, museums, nature preserves and activities in the nearby towns of Carthage and Joplin. Enjoy our hot water outdoor shower (spring, summer and fall) open to the sky. Tent camping and small rv space (water and electric only). You are also welcome to tour our indoor greenhouse where we grow pineapples and bananas!
