The half way point for many river trips is just a few miles away. In addition to the river, there are many other nearby things to see and do- Echo Bluff State park, Current River State Park, Montauk trout park, the wild horses of Shannon county, Alley Spring and Mill as well as other cave/rock/water attractions. Our location is also great for dark sky viewing , either here on the farm or at local, sponsored, events. The area is truly an outdoor lovers paradise.

The Dogwood cabin is a hand built, tiny cabin perched on the glades of Conway hollow.  If you have ever wanted to experience tiny house living or life on a small homestead, this cabin is for you.  This is a grid tied solar cabin with no conventional outlets, cell phone coverage or tv's. There are, however, usb ports in  the cabin for your gadgets but  wifi access is weather permitting and much slower than in most places!

Everything but food and drink are provided for you! All linens, soaps, shampoos,  dishes and utensils are provided. There is a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot in cabin as well as indoor bathroom/shower. There is a queen bed in the loft and full size day bed on main floor.  Charcoal grill on deck with  nearby fire pit  grill as well as a large covered/lighted pavilion with picnic table and wood fired stove/oven, large charcoal grill,  butane stove, hot/cold running water, microwave and fridge

The charcoal and kitchen firewood (except for oven- has added fee of $25 per day) is provided. A small amount of campfire wood is provided, downfall is free and extra wood can be purchased for $5 an arm load. All you need to do is bring food and drink! Farm fresh eggs and breakfast basics(pancake mix, oatmeal, eggs)  are provided in outdoor kitchen.  Garden produce  (seasonally) and other farm products can be purchased on site. Although, we are very rural  there  is a small,  well stocked, convenience store/ canoe kayak rental  1.5 miles away.

Come enjoy all the beauty that the local area (Shannon county and the Ozark National Scenic Riverways) has to offer then retreat to the cozy cabin and the quiet of the forest.  we are MMJ friendly

We drove down from St. Louis Friday night. The cabin was more comfortable and well stocked than I imagined. Throughout the weekend we spent time on the porch, reading on the day bed, cooking on the small charcoal grill on the porch and the wood-burning stove. We made a fire and watched the stars. Our hosts came around to see how we were doing, chat, and offer any assistance. It was cool to hear their vision for the place and how much they’ve done. Each morning we woke up there was a huge carafe of coffee on our step. ❤️❤️ The whole experience was above my expectations and I expect we’ll come back to see more of the parks in the area.

A hundred feet or so away is a wood-burning stove and oven. Everything was there for us: cast iron, wood, lighter. We cooked up potatoes, green beans, and steak for dinner. Our hosts came by and offered help and told us some great stories. We loved our stay.A grill on the porch was perfect for breakfasts. Enjoying coffee and a book on the porch

Spectacular!!! The tiny cabin, the amenities, the sweet animals. It’s stands true to its name and is a wayz back and so peaceful. Marie and Chris keep to themselves and are also very helpful and communicate well. So much to do in that area for days and the outdoor kitchen will help make lots of meals while there. I recommend calling all the places (rentals, tours and such) you want to know about before going for your stay since cell service is minimal. That way you know all your options. Staying onsite to lounge in the hammock with the two hummingbirds while reading is pretty perfect too. Highly recommend this corner of heaven.

Marie's cabin was the perfect place to kick back and relax, while having access to so many gorgeous public parks no more than 5 mins drive away. Marie is incredibly thoughtful and communicative—the cabin is FULLY stocked with all the gear you may need, and Marie made sure we knew what was provided and what we'd need to bring ahead of time. She left a fresh hot carafe of coffee on the porch for us in the morning, which was just over-the-top amazing! The cabin is cozy and small, but could comfortably fit 4 people with the two beds. We didn't use the shower in the cabin, but everything was clean and well-kept. We spent our afternoon exploring Current River State Park (about 2 mins down the road), which was absolutely gorgeous. All-in-all, we loved staying at Itzawayzback Farm, and we will definitely be back...and we live in Texas!!

Day-bed on the bottom level of the cabin. Could easily sleep 2 people, and was very comfortable.Amazing kitchen, with all the amenities! The Host resides across the property in this home, and is available from 7am-7pm to help with anything you need! Very kind people! The gorgeous cabin in Winter - so cozy and warm with the heater.

We stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The cabin was ready when we arrived, clean and well appointed. Marie left clear instructions but things were pretty simple and self explanatory. Farm fresh eggs were waiting for us when we arrived. We awoke to fresh hot coffee on our doorstep each morning. The cabin was exactly as described. No surprises. It poured down rain on Friday afternoon but we were snug & dry inside. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others looking to spend some time in nature while still enjoying some basic luxuries (ie, running water, air conditioning, hot shower, etc.). We look forward to another visit!

Marie and Chris were the perfect hosts! Helpful when we had questions but really let us do our own thing! The cabin was peaceful, serene, and it's location is ideal for nearby adventures like Echo Bluff, Welch Spring, Devil's Well, Current River, etc. We will be back as soon as we can!

A beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed, charcoal, firewood, the outdoor kitchen was amazing, the hammock and swing were super relaxing and the upstairs bed (the only one we tried) was great! I only wish we had stayed longer. I highly recommend this place and it is so close to a ton of things to see. If you are staying during the week, don't miss the opportunity to go down the Current River with barely anybody else on the water. Crystal clear!

Inside the cabin, perfect when it gets too cold out. Outdoor kitchen at nightMaking dinnerFun things to do

Such a beautiful well maintained quiet farm with a quaint little cabin. The outdoor kitchen was perfect. I have to admit, I felt very spoiled and a little like a queen with coffee waiting outside my door when I awoke. Thank you for the memories!

It certainly is a WAYZ back! But being familiar with the area, finding the place wasn’t too difficult. Definitely recommend finding landmarks to get back after day trips. Their garden is wonderful for a morning, afternoon or evening stroll with ample hummingbirds to hangout with!
