We really enjoyed the beautiful setting and the peaceful quiet of this country site. Our door opened up to beautiful cornfields. Behind us was the security of the farmhouse B&B.
The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Will plan to stop here again ext time through.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful estate.

Everything was just fine. Not your traditional camping. This is a good place to stop on your way to your destination.

Idyllic stay among the cornfields of Missouri. Our hosts warmly welcomed us on arrival and introduced the kids to the tire swing. Perfect for catching fireflies and pondering the stars, this experience is one we highly recommend having. On the way to/fro, dine at the owner’s awesomely delicious and friendly Red Shanty BBQ Cafe.

Our stay with Annette and Kenton was an unexpected surprise! The beautiful shaded hilltop surrounded by corn fields was so Inviting we stayed for 2 nights. We parked our teardrop on a level spot next to the manicured yard and garage with water and electric hookup They both pay attention to every detail and are very accommodating! We also had dinner in their restaurant, Red Shanty BBQ and Cafe (a short drive to town) and the food was delicious! . We loved staying here and look forward to returning again!

We arrived at Red Shanty Lodging after a long drive towing our new Airstream Nest. We were greeted by our hosts and two other couples, one in their own trailer and one in the trailer for rent on site. It is a picturesque location with a beautiful home, manicured grounds, handy hoses and outlets. We were lucky enough to get a piece of pie from the host's restaurant. (it was delicious). My only wish is we were closer so we could return more often. Maybe next year for the 4th!
I can't imagine a more perfect place to spend July 4th. We were surrounded by corn fields and could see fireworks in every directions.

Has become a favorite spot with favorite hosts. They even have a cute little restaurant in Higginsville. Especially nice this time of year with tall corn and fireflies! Enjoy!

Very peaceful setting in the country in the cutest renovated camper. Annette put so many thoughtful touches into the decor it is fun, functional, and sparkling clean! The bed was very comfortable and the spacious bathroom and well supplied kitchenette ensured I had all the comforts of home. The coffee made my morning as did the quiet sounds of the beautiful farm property. BBQ from the Red Shanty Cafe in town was just what I needed after a long day of travel.
