The vibe at Cabin on the Creek Ozark Mtns
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
It was a perfect getaway for my kids and I during our fall break! The kids played for hours in the creek and enjoyed hanging out by the campfire and seeing all the stars. The cabin was exactly as described and the owners did everything possible to make the stay easy. Unlike other rentals we've had in the past, they provided all linens, pillows, soaps, paper towels, trash bags as well as providing access to a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, propane grill and a big stack of fire wood. We were close enough for a day trip to Johnson Shut-ins and Elephant Rocks. If it were warmer, it would have been great to check out the options for swimming in the river. We already want to go back!
Driving through the beautiful woods of Missouri on the way to Rhesa and Evan’s Ozark mountain home, you get the feeling of going back to a simpler time. Sure enough, our experience at Cabin on the Creek brought us all the nostalgia and joy of walks in the woods, camp cookouts, and bunkhouse boardgames. Our hosts have equipped their property and cabin with all the amenities necessary for enjoying yourself in the rustic setting of rural Missouri. The cabin is stocked with games, blankets, coffee and much more which you can enjoy while rocking away in their back porch rocking chairs. Rhesa and Evan are lovely people who have done a fantastic job to provide an exceptional experience for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and kick back in quiet comfort.
