Clay Stewart is the host of this Hipcamp site and though on a recent visit we never got the chance to meet him, he was easy to communicate with and super friendly.

We found his place out in the country in Brandon, Mississippi without any trouble. It was very quiet, which we appreciated. The only sounds were heard were geese flying overhead. Definitely a great getaway if you’re trying to recharge after a long week at work.

There’s a lake on the site and even two aluminum boats propped up on the wooden dock. If it was summertime we most definitely would have taken our shoes off and sat on the dock with a book and a beer. We visited in winter, however, and stayed warm by hiking around the property (you can easily walk around the lake).

The land itself is flat and level and there’s a lot of space for you to choose from. There’s easily room for several groups of campers if you wanted to come with friends.

We recommend this place if you’er looking for a site with very little light pollution, peace and quiet and a view with a lake.

This was our first ever hipcamp experience and it was spectacular. From the initial contact, Clay was great. We are traveling with our two dogs and really wanted a private site that would allow our pups to be able to run and stretch their legs. This place was more than perfect. Gorgeous flat space with a major bonus of a flush toilet and shower head attached to a tree (cold water only). It was heavenly to rinse off in the heat. I am a little hesitant to let people know about this gem because we loved it so very much. You will not be disappointed.

What a place! Clay was very responsive and waited for us to show us around. Very private, next to a pond where we could use his kayak. There was even a flush toilet and a shower, including towels and soap! A great Hipcamo-experience, would highly recommend it!
