Rick and Bonney took great care of us during our stay, giving us extra assistance when needed. The campsite felt secluded and safe, with no other campers in sight. There was a fire pit and a place to dispose of trash fairly close (but not too close). We were also presented with unlimited firewood. The land was beautiful, hilly and forested. The dogs on the property were very cute. My only regret is not staying longer to explore the walking trails on the property. We came from New Orleans and just stayed overnight. This is a perfect mini-break from the city, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
Enjoyed a quiet 2 night stay in a grove of trees in a rural area, 1/2 mile off of the main road and 1/3 mile from host’s house. 3 sites on the property, but we were the only campers so we had the whole place to ourselves. Hosts and their rescue dogs were welcoming and checked on us when going for their daily walk. Hiked multiple maintained trails around the farm property which now just grows trees. Kids loved playing in the clearing and exploring the pond.
