Camping here can be as much back to nature as you want it to be. It is secluded on 135 acres and you can walk trails and through the woods where ever you like. We have a working farm you can visit and even help out on. We have a petting farm where we raise meat goats, cows, llamas, chickens, turkey's, miniature Jerseys for milking. You can come and collect a dozen eggs from the hen house for only 2.00 a dozen. You can't get eggs any fresher than that. We also have a camel that you can have your picture taken with and a wallaby, so it can be a interesting stay here on our farm. If you want to visit the farm and enjoy the animals and take all the pictures you want it is an additional 25.00 farm fee paid upon arrival. That is for your entire stay here...so if you want to come back to the barn each day you can....we also have homemade jellies and jams made right here on the farm for sale....We will have vegetable available for picking starting in June....

The very best possible experience imaginable for my 5 year old granddaughter's first camping trip! We were greeted by Deborah and her family who are the nicest people ever, and a one week old baby goat! My granddaughter got to cuddle and feed her and even take her back to our camper for a visit. We fell in love with Clyde the camel who is nothing short of amazing. We got some fabulous pictures with him, the llamas, a miniature horse, donkey, chickens, goats. She was able to collect eggs which we had for breakfast and plenty to take home. We roasted marshmallows, walked trails through woods, and went fishing and caught 8 bass! It is great for kids but we honestly would go back just the two of us. This is a beautiful spot on the planet and we loved the peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Also would like to mention that we live in Mobile, AL and the drive was just and hour and a half. We have a 39 foot 5th wheel and had no problems at all with getting it in and hooking up.
If you are looking for a clean, relaxing and picturesque getaway, this is it! The hosts are gracious and kind people. They have a working farm nearby with plenty of friendly animals to pet and love on if you are interested. The camping site is quiet on a pond which is perfect for fishing, reading or reflecting. Electric and water available. Keep in mind no black water available, so great for short trips in your camper!
Deb is a wonderful hostess! Oak Lane is a working farm... you get to see her animals up close, the fresh eggs are delicious, and her sweet tea is the best! Our camp site was private, yet you felt with Deb you had a friend just a short drive away. The fishing was great, the fish even better. Our family had a wonderful time!
