95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

10/10 - Highly Recommend!!

We stayed at site #3, and I can't say enough positive things about our experience! From the moment we booked, David went above and beyond with communication - we knew all necessary details well in advance. He even reached out an hour before we arrived to see if we wanted to purchase firewood, which was ready at our site when we got there. Mel greeted us at the entrance and guided us to our campsite with a smile and was incredibly friendly. The adorable dogs on the property, particularly the sweet black lab that spent a lot of time around our campsite, added to the charm of the camp. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning creek right behind our site. We enjoyed our time in the refreshing water, especially our dog who spent the majority of the trip in the water. Site 3 had everything we needed for tent camping, including a fire pit and enough space to back our car in, which was very convenient. Our site was also right across from a pasture where we got to see beautiful cows and horses grazing during our stay, which was a first for us! There were other campers at nearby sites, but we felt we had a ton of privacy and did not hear much noise from others which was great…the pit toilet was also nearby, which was really convenient and appreciated. The welcoming hosts, convenient amenities, beautiful surroundings, and everything in between definitely exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next visit! :)

Site 6

Had an amazing experience at site 6! Private camping experience experience tucked in the woods on the outskirts of a pasture where you can watch horses and cows. There are trails throughout the woods and multiple spots along the creek to go swimming. Water was clear and refreshing. Will definitley be coming back!

We loved our stay on David and Edie’s property! It suited our needs perfectly. David was great with communicating, showing us what we’d need while we were there and checked on us throughout our stay. We will be back!!
