Camp Topisaw is an absolutely MAGICAL place! My boyfriend and I wanted to find a secluded place to camp and we found exactly what we were searching for. When we arrived David greeted us & made sure we found the place easily (which we did). Then Mel showed us around the property and showed us where the cool camping spots were located. The property was huge and there is a beautiful creek that you can camp near. We loved having the water near us. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed and even let us borrow the things we forgot! For the price, you cannot beat this experience and the firewood bundle alone felt worth the price. Plus at night we were able to see the stars very clearly! Which is one reason I rate this place a million stars ;) So peaceful. Everyone was very helpful and attentive and gave my BF and me a great, private and romantic weekend. Definitely going back in the summer to swim in the creek!

This site was a hidden gem! Mel and David were fantastic - meeting me when I arrived and they already had the fire going. The showed me some hiking trails on the property as well. The creek side site is amazing - I went swimming the next day and just relaxed. It was nice a secluded but also nice to know that Mel and David were around the corner if I needed anything. The site I was at already had a table and chairs as well as a fire pit and fire food - so nice to have this already set up. I would love to go back again and spend more that 2 nights there!

My friends and I made reservations for camping on our roadtrip last minute so we weren’t sure what to expect.

The site was excellent, gorgeous view by the creek, blackberry bushes everywhere, and the site owner even had a fire going for us when we got there. Additionally, despite the fact that it was a creekside camp we had enough trees and room to set up four hammocks. 10/10 would stay again

I give this camp site a million stars. This experience is one I would love to have again. They were very accommodating with our changing arrival time. We had multiple sites to choose from, and each one was gorgeous and unique. We arrived after dark and they meet us at the road to make sure we could find it. The camp fire was already prepared!! And the stack of fire wood provided was more then enough!! It was such a blessing. The creek is magical as well as all the starts you can see. Thank you Edie for your kindness!

We absolutely loved our stay at Camp Topisaw! It was so beautiful and peaceful. The only other people we saw the entire time were 4 ladies floating down the creek. We cannot wait to go again. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The kids played in the creek from morning until sundown. The cool water felt amazing during the hot day. We also saw a beaver! Thanks again for an amazing weekend!

I can't stop bragging about this place. We stayed at site 2 and its a little peice of perfection. Mel met us and brought us to the site and was incredibly helpful and cool. We tent camped and were a bit nerous about it being that its summer, but being under the trees in the sand made the temp just perfect. Theres also lots of furnished equipment already there which just made it that much better. The creek is so clear and wonderfully cool. If you plan on hanging out in the creek and walking it, i would suggest bringing water shoes (we didn't) as its kinda hard on the feet. The ONLY negative I can say, is that the horseflies were kind of a nuisance, im sure thats just a seasonal thing though and maybe theres something you could bring to help keep them away. We plan going back with our children in the very near future and look forward to tubing down the creek with them.
