You will only need to walk a short distance to your campsite from where your car is parked. Water is close to the parking spot. There is plenty of room for an RV but no hook-ups. I am surrounded by federal and state forest land so the area all around is very peaceful. 40 acre pond is visible from my property. There are several lakes very nearby, less than a mile. You can hear frogs in the evening and loons flying overhead, and in the fall and spring, you hear geese, ducks, and Trumpeter Swans along with the loons. This listing is less than an hour away from the The Lost Forty, Bemidji State Park and Itasca State Park. Fifteen miles away is the famed Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox. The Kodak Company claims Paul and Babe are the second most photographed statues in the United States with Mount Rushmore being the first.

Cute little campsite! We felt very secluded, even though it close to our car and not far from the house! The pine needles made for a nice cushy pad :) Convenient distance from Bemidji and local state parks. Genevieve was kind and welcoming, and very accommodating!
Genevieve was a lovely host - very welcoming + accommodating. The campsite was well shaded from the morning sun & easy to set up in

It was wonderful meeting the two of you. I am glad you enjoyed Itasca!
awesome sites, fire pit were small but im sure the host will make them larger in the future. quiet and peaceful.
The land was beautiful, it was very private and the host was very friendly and accommodating. The 2nd site was very buggy and Gen’s dog is skittish and likes to bark. Overall, the site was very nice and we would visit at a different time of the year.
