Kingsbury Creek Paradise
Great bikepack campsite
This site was less than a mile off the Willard Munger trail which was perfect after biking 70 miles. It’s an awesome location right next to Superior hiking trail and the zoo. It was really nice listening to the creek that is not far away. Yes there are neighbors close by but they were very friendly and had a nice dog.

Nice area to set up tent that was fairly private. The location was excellent, only about 10 minutes from the lake and Canal Park. Restrooms were technically open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. but were still unlocked later.

Great spot in quiet neighborhood
My husband and I wanted to go to Duluth at the last minute on Labor Day weekend and we found Tonya's place via Google search as we knew the state parks would be filled up. We loved staying here! It was super quiet while we were there, with one other tent and a camper van on the lot with us (we never heard a peep from either of them). We camped in our van and it was easy to pull onto the lot (with Tonya's okay via text as she was not at the property during our stay). We slept well and felt very safe. It's a nice tree-filled vacant lot between two houses in a quiet neighborhood right next to the zoo and a park. We used the park bathrooms and that worked fine. There's no shower but there are toilets and sinks that were clean. The location is west Duluth, which is great because there's a food co-op just 1.4 miles away where we got food, and there are also lots of breweries and cider houses nearby. It's an "up and coming" part of town for sure. We would definitely stay here again when we come to town and want to camp on the cheap.

Perfect place to stay in Duluth
Tonya was really responsive to my questions. I shared the site with another family as I was in town for a wedding. Just a block away from the SHT which made for a great coffee hike. Thanks so much!

Convenient, private urban stay.
Great urban site yet private. Free firewood was a nice touch. Perfect for a night. Would definitely use again.

Convenient spot in Duluth! Would be good to note that the bathrooms open and close at 10am/pm!
