Guests can enjoy gazing at the starry night sky in a comfortable queen size bed (with bedding) with no set up required! Sleeping in this air filled dome is an amazing experience, just remember, the dome is clear so when the sun comes up, the dome starts to warm up. It is kept inflated with a fan, so there will be the noise of the fan as well. We do have another tent set up so you can have a place with some privacy. The glampsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill with charcoal provided, fire pit with first bundle of firewood provided (additional bundles on site for purchase) and a complimentary basket of s'more making goodies. There is a self composting toilet at each site. Showers, sauna and workout facility 2.6 miles from the campsite at Snap Fitness in St. Croix Falls, WI (one guest pass is included with a stay of a week or more. For shorter stays, passes are available for purchase). With the St. Croix River and several state parks to hike, bike, rock climb, canoe or kayak it's not hard to find things to do. Other area attractions are Wild Mountain Waterpark, Trollhaugen Zip Line and Adventure Park and Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours. There is fun for everyone! If that's not your cup of tea, visit one of the many wineries or antique stores in the area, stay on-farm to enjoy it's beauty and solitude or ask Dan and Danielle for a tour of their orchard! The quaint towns of Taylors Falls, St. Croix Falls, Oseola and Stillwater offer so much to do! Plan your stay with them today!

The vibe at Clear Dome, Stargazing Tent
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
1st hipcamp experience over memorial day weekend. The setup at Stone Creek Farm is excellent! We were hoping to avoid the over-full campgrounds in the area and this option was wonderful. Dani & Dan are very communicative, helpful and offered a lot of mindful quiet space for us; they mentioned this was a first for them this year too and were great about giving us the feeling of solitude while they worked on the property. The dome set up sounded like a work in progress, with shades or some kind of privacy option to come. It is hot in that bubble come morning (it was a super hot/humid weekend too tho), but the sky watching at night is fantastic! They had an additional tent set up for changing and a lovely area set up in an old barn foundation behind the dome, lined with trees and flower beds, and a grill, fire pit, bistro lighting AND bonus s'mores fixings. We brought hammocks and spent most of the afternoons relaxing there while the heat passed. Very close to Interstate Park and Franconia Sculpture Garden for good hikes and sights. We had an awesome time, really enjoyed meeting our hosts (and their dog!) and would absolutely visit again! Thanks Dani & Dan!!
The common area for fires and cooking is within an old barn foundation and is set up nicely with a table and chairs, fire pit with benches, and a charcoal grill. It has a nice amount of tree coverage for shade yet open enough to watch the sunset and fireflies after the sun goes down. The common area is part of their backyard but far enough away from the house to where we didn't feel like we were disturbing them. The stargazing globe tent is set up on a platform beyond the common area behind a group of trees. It was a nice surprise to see that the bed inside the globe was full size and on a bedframe with a headboard. They provided a power strip inside. We'd recommend bringing a fan if the weather is warm as there is no air flow inside the globe. The weekend we were there it was 90° and very humid so a fan would have been very helpful. They also provided a separate screen type tent for privacy to change clothes and such. A compost outhouse is on the premises as well.
Just a few miles outside of Taylor's Falls which has plenty of scenic areas and attractions within and nearby. A nice site and setup if you wanted to stay onsite during your stay but plenty of options for daytime activities off site.
We were greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the premises. After that we were left to do our own thing. They provide complimentary s'mores fixings and the first bundle of firewood. They have a farm to take care of and did some work during the day but it was not distracting to us. We would stay here again but would try for cooler weather in our opinion.
They're somewhat new to Hipcamp and renting out their property but we felt welcomed and thought everything was set up well. We would visit again!
Thank you for your hospitality and for a great experience!
