Stay close to everything you want to do, but away from the crowds (we naturally socially distance)! You'll love this tent site  (one of just two on the property - about 50 yards from each other) 5 minutes from Wm. O'Brien State Park and the scenic St. Croix River, where you can hike, fish, swim, canoe, kayak and bike.

Cherry Grove is the most private of our two beautiful sites. A grassy area for your tent is surrounded by white pine, maple and fruit trees, and includes a fire ring so you can make s'mores under the stars. Cherry Grove overlooks a small grove of cherry trees. You'll see plenty of wildlife, including birds, deer and the occasional raccoon. Covered composting toilet, shared by 2 campsites and cleaned and disinfected daily.

Please note that this is a small camping area that is run privately by homeowners, who live on site. Our site is a good match for those wanting to quietly connect with nature. We do not have any playground equipment for children.

Discover nearby towns of Scandia (2 miles), which has miles of bike paths along ponds and lakes, and Marine on St. Croix (4 miles), a lovely historic village with an award-winning chocolate shop, ice cream, as well as the state's oldest operating general store (complete with wooden floorboards) 15 minutes south is Stillwater and 15 minutes north is Taylors Falls and even more state parks.

Campsite was a little closer to the house than we were expecting, but it was absolutely a wonderful visit. We had a great time, they were very generous, and their composting bathroom was fancier than heck!

Excellent spot in a perfect location. Very close to William O’Brien State Park, awesome town of Marine on St. Croix and short drive to Taylors Falls as well. Site was well kept and private. My boys loved all the frogs and toads. Thanks for a great stay!
