Wonderful, quiet spot with surrounding woods and nearby water access. We plan to go back and rent both spaces. The 2 sites were a bit closer together than we pictured, otherwise the perfect spot for a secluded getaway.
Fun weekend getaway!
Had a wonderful time this weekend at Mikko Kamp. We went with my brother who reserved the other site. The site was very nice and clean. Lush green forest surrounds the camp and there is a dock within walking distance. The beach nearby was very nice with crystal clean water. The two sites are relatively close so I’d recommend reserving with someone you know. When we got there Mike greeted us and gave us a short tour of the property then left. He is close by if you need anything. Ticks were a bit thick but otherwise it was perfect. Itasca was about 45 minutes away, highly recommend taking a trip out there. I’d highly recommend booking At Mikko Kamp, we will most likely be returning some day!
Secluded and wonderful!
Beautiful seclusion! Woke up to birds, went to sleep with loon calls from nearby lake...took our kayak out...enjoyed the space IMMENSELY! Mike was a wonderful host, greeting us with info then letting us settle in and enjoy!
