This was a great place to camp! Bill was super friendly and helpful and the campsite was gorgeous and QUIET! It was so nice to wake up in the middle of the night and listen to the birds and wildlife instead of generator hum. There's very little light pollution so you can really see the stars. Pretty much everything I was hoping for!

Great camping spot. Hammock posts, fire pit, a bench, a picnic table, and an outhouse all it’s own nook tucked back by the woods. We woke up to rooster and turkey calls in the morning. Tons of trout in the stream nearby. The host is very respectful, and keeps this site well maintained.

Bill’s place was more than ideal and he was an extremely kind and generous host! Tucked into the hillside and back near the woods on his property, you truly feel like you’re the only ones around. Bill’s place made a perfect crash spot for my dad and I on our spring, turkey hunting adventure.. He has an outhouse, fire ring, plenty of tent space, hang spots for hammocks, a water spigot (if needed), and anything else that you need or forgot if you ask. My dad and Bill ended up sharing many of the same interests and I’m sure they’ll end up hunting or fishing together at some point. We found his place after we realized that public land, tent camping nearby was closed due to COVID19. He was so helpful in getting us set up and had a really good understanding of the area and things to do and see. We will absolutely be back to Bill’s spot, and we really feel like we hit the jack pot in finding his post on Hipcamp.

I would absolutely recommend. Bill the host was very accommodating and my daughter LOVED all the small animals. Very nice set up and private with tons of wild life in nearby trails. The host family couldn't have been more pleasant and we had a great time! Nice short drive to Lark toys in rainy weather. ;) Thanks Bill and family!

Bill is a very nice and thoughtful host. We were thankful he put a rain canopy up over the picnic table since there was rain in the forecast. And wow, it sure rained.
Very nice place to camp.

This was a perfect site, nestled in the rolling hills. It is green and lush surrounded by trees. Plenty of space, shade, nature and stars. Clean picnic table, large fire pit with wood at hand and a grate to grill on, a propane grill also right there and the most pleasant outhouse you will ever see! Wonderful camping spot. So many song birds! The delightful host brought all of our gear in and out for us. He was truly a pleasure to talk with, so easy going. I can not wait to return. Beyond belief!
