Dan and Jane have such a lovely farm and are absolutely incredible hosts. Google maps tried to direct us to drive through a field so we needed to look at a map the "old fashioned" way. We absolutely recommend a stay here.
This not only was a wonderful place to stay if you are looking to get away from the noise and hubbub of city life, but Dan and Jane are perhaps the nicest people who were extremely accommodating. I so enjoyed talking with them. Totally recommend this place 100%!!
Our family of five (3 kids and 2 adults) stayed two nights at the beautiful "Daniel's Cabin Resort". The RV was clean and had everything we needed. The land was absolutely beautiful and contains a pond, several small boats and plenty of walking trails.
Daniel and his wife were fantastic. They ensured we had a supply of firewood and provided us with life jackets, a bean bag toss and nets to catch frogs. Minneopa State Park (as well as other local attractions) are within easy reach.
Upon returning home our daugther said we should have stayed three nights and asked when we can go back. We look forward to returning!
Had a great time this past weekend at NRPInes! Daniel and Jane are most excellent hosts. They were so kind and welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed, answered all of our questions about covid-19 precautions, and were easily accessible via text both before and during the trip. The directions they provided were easy to follow with plenty of landmarks to look for. Onsite, the camper was clean, private, and there was plenty to do and explore. We took a few walks around the gorgeous property, went canoeing on the pond, petted the very friendly horse, had a bonfire, and got to see some incredible stars at night! Just wish our stay could have been longer, but we would absolutely go back in a heartbeat!
Great place with a prairie feel. Dan was a fabulous host! Our kids loved the pond with the kayak and paddle boat, and seeing the horse.
We had the best time here. This was our first hipcamp experience and they set the bar high. They went above and beyond our expectations. Their property is beautiful. The camper was perfect. We hope to come back again.
We had such a great fall weekend at NRPines! Dan and Jane were very hospitable, the camper was super clean and comfortable. Walking paths and all the accessories of lawn games, canoe, kayak and paddle boat was more than we expected. Bonus of wildflower preserve- Highly recommend!

Wonderful hosts and a charming setting that was perfect for our one-night getaway from the twin-cities. Thanks, Dan and Jane!
We LOVED our time on Daniel's land and in his fabulous RV. This was the perfect set up for fall camping with winter. Dan was so inviting and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would highly recommend.

Kari it was nice having you here and wish you and your family could have stayed longer. The early single digit temperatures forced us to winterize our camper trailer for the season and will resume next spring. Even though we have closed NRPines campsites for the winter we have had a wonderful camping season meeting many great campers and families as it has been a perfect release from a very challenging 2020 for so many. We have had a lot of repeat campers and look forward to serving you, families, and friends next year. In 2021 NRPines is in the planning phase of expanding natural resources offerings, but will remain limiting the number of campsites to ensure the peace, privacy and tranquility found in few locations. Canoe, kayak, paddle boat will remain by dock and new picnic location is being added to the reworked babbling brook. Until next year stay safe and healthy, Dan and Jane NRPines.com Waseca, MN
