f you live in Minnesota , you know the winters can be brutal and often times , many Minnesota residents side with the bears and go into hibernation during the long , cold winters months. We have to be creative and find things to do here on the frozen tundra . Camp Cuyuna has just what the doctor ordered to cure your winter blues . Even I hate the cold but throw an adventure at me and I will wake up to it . The wood stoves in these yurts will keep you cozy warm and the lake next to them , stocked with trout , will keep your bellies full . Just make sure trout season is open before you fish ! There is the sweet little town of Crosby , just a couple miles away with great food and brews if the big one gets away from you on the lake :)

There is a lake stocked with trout within walking distance from the yurts . The yurts here are beautiful . The woodstove in the yurts will keep you warm during the Minnesota winters . The mine lake near the yurts are very deep . We were at 19 feet here , right off the shore . The lake drops to 100 + feet in the center .
