Green Island is an unexpected private forest located entirely inside a small town in Northern Minnesota. There are outdoor sculptures, apple orchards, a pond, pines, deer, a meditation kuti, and perfect spaces for shinrin-yoku. It is an excellent hiker's or paddler's waystation en route to the Boundary Waters canoe region of northern Minnesota or to Itasca State Park. International travelers are particularly welcome as are individuals or couples who are dedicated environmentalists and earth tenders.
