**Note**For the summer months, there is a running water and an awesome outdoor shower with hot water. But...in the winter and when there is a risk of freezing temperatures, the tiny house has a hauled-water supply situation. This can be a fun adventure and all who have come have enjoyed it but make sure it is right for you! There is a bucket with a spigot for doing dishes and a water vessel for drinking water. There is a solar bag shower that can be used outside for the brave-hearted! The water supply to the tiny house is not winterized so now that temperatures have hit below freezing, we supply water in food-grade buckets. You do not need to bring your own water. The tiny stays plenty warm and has electricity. In this season, you'll park your car at the top of our driveway and enjoy a short 2 minute walk to the tiny house as the path is not kept clear of snow for car travel. There is a sled you can use to transport your items..or to sled with!!
We want to make sure each guest has an awesome experience so please be sure to thoroughly review the listing to make sure this is the experience you are excited about!
We have another tiny house on the property. Each tiny house has its own privacy. They are located approx. 40 yards apart, separated by a piece of forest.
Note: the tiny house is set up for two people.
You will have the whole tiny house to yourselves. Enjoy the hammock, relax by a bonfire, enjoy the stars. We live on the property, not far away so are available if you have any questions, etc. We have a two night minimum stay but if you are interested in just one night and the calendar says that night is available, please message us and we'll see what we can do. Our intention is for the tiny house to be accessible price-wise to folks. If the price you see for the dates you want is not accessible, please message us and let us know what would work for you.
Interaction with guests
For most visitors, we will be available to meet with you if you have questions. There is a book in the house full of info on our favorites...favorite place for breakfast, favorite beach, mt. bike, etc.
Other things to note
We have a french press for making coffee, not a regular coffee pot. If you would like a regular coffee pot for your stay, let me know. We are pet-friendly and have hosted many groups with dogs. There is a $20/per pet/per night fee, which will not be included in your total. Please leave this money in the tiny house before you leave. We require pet owners to follow our pet policy. Inquire for a copy of it.

The vibe at Tiny House with Spring Wildflowers
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
What a magical place! The thoughtful and artful design of the tiny house really impressed us -- everything is well-crafted and the whole property is designed with care and attention to detail. We had a lovely evening bonfire and laid in the hammock looking up at the (plentiful) stars. The tiny house is cozy and the bed is super comfortable, plus it's a short drive from the Frankfort beach on Lake Michigan as well as Arcadia dunes! I would highly recommend a stay to anyone looking for a little getaway with an impeccable aesthetic. Thanks so much Lisa!
