Hidden rustic gem
Sheila and Jeff are amazing hosts. Their little cabin was a gem. Rustic but still had all the comforts of home. Perfect for a weekend get away. Peaceful and relaxing. We fell in love with the rustic lodge decor.
Sheila even made us fresh chocolate chip cookies for our arrival and they were delicious!!! Happy HipCampers !!!! We definitely will visit again. Also a friendly pet cat that waits to tell you good morning lol

The Crow’s Nest was a magical cabin on beautiful grounds made by creative and delightful human beings. The photos do not do this place justice. The moment you turn onto the driveway, the spirit of forestry surrounds you. The boardwalk to the cabin was so cool with twinkling lights that guide the way at night. There were so many thoughtful details inside and outside. The live edge wood molding, cleanliness/organization, fountains, artwork, the super comfy bed/sheets, mini fridge, fans, heater, toaster oven (which you can cook just about anything in), microwave, coffee maker with all the goods, cooking/eating implements, toiletries - the list goes on! There’s even a shower and compost toilet right inside the cabin with reading materials! Not to mention all the wood that your heart desires for the huge fire pit right out back. There’s even an enclosed picnic table and citronella candles/bug spray. Here’s the kicker- if you’re working from home and need WIFI (or whatever other reason)- this is the place for you. I spent the work week at the cabin and had no issues what-so-ever. This is a must see and do HipCamp. Sheila & Jeff were just amazing hosts and the whole experience was unparalleled (thank you). Trails, wildlife, ambiance, art, hammocks and sweet Violet <3 ... just do it!
This place is a Hidden Gem! Don’t think it twice and Book it! You have of them commodities of a suite in the middle of the woods. Jeff and Sheila are wonderful hosts . I will come back to the Crow’s Nest for sure! You will be more than welcome at their place.
Beautiful and lots to do
Had a fantastic time at the Crows Nest! Would absolutely come back and hopefully stay longer next time. Owners are great people and very helpful. I am an avid fishermen and they were able to point me to a spot where I had one of the best days of fishing in my life. The woods around the Crows Nest is stunning and had a magical feel to it. I would recommend a stay here to anyone looking to get away from home and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors!
I really enjoyed myself. I didn't realize Sheila and Jeff lived next door but it didn't matter it was like being in our own little wooded bubble. The rustic feel is very cute, all the essentials thought of, we ended up packing a bit too much. We used the fire pit to cook all our meals and had a wonderful time exploring the property. If amazed me how they basically own a small forest. Seeing the baby deer, family of crows, a few kinds of woodpecker, and many frogs was a major delight. The hammock was super nice to just relax and listen to the trees dance. Unexpectedly had to take some detours on our way there due to bridge closures but they opened back up before we left. Jeff and Sheila are very sweet and blessed people. The fact they share their beautiful property with strangers is just wonderfully generous. Would love to visit again sometime.
Jeff and Shelia were very welcoming and accommodating to me and my girlfriend Kallissa. We got to the property and saw that there is so much more to see than what’s on here. I went out and took a bunch of photos for everyone to see how beautiful this place really were. Jeff even had brought out a gas grill for us to use!
