Welcome to Camp 420 on the state line between Michigan and Wisconsin, on the Michigan side. This 4 acre forest paradise hosts a variety of hardwood and pine trees and has seasonal views Etna Lake. The property is also across the street from Chaney Lake (though access is a bit further away).

What you get with this site is privacy to enjoy the many pleasures that are legal in Michigan as well as the idyllic surroundings of the forest. Have a nice, laid back experience here.

The property features a porta-potty, campfire ring, picnic table, parking area for up to two cars or one camper, and gravel tent pad measuring 15x15 ft. There is a small trail leading to a ridge that has spring and fall views of Etna Lake.

We do have the property professionally sprayed for bugs but encourage you to bring bug spray as you are in the north woods.

The site was easy to find and the location was great with lakes nearby. The provided picnic table, fire ring, and chairs were a huge plus and we loved it.

The site is super cute and straight forward! There’s a very neat tent spot, camp Fire ring and chairs, and cooking grate for the fire. We enjoyed letting the dog off leash as the tent spot is a good distance away from the road. In Summer months don’t forget some bug spray as the site is quite wooded!

Nice private site. A little tight for our RV, but it worked out great.

Thanks again!

We needed a last minute campsite for our trip to the Porkies and Camp 420 did not disappoint. The site was very well taken care of and the fact that it had a toilet, picnic table and fire ring were definitely a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful spot! Beautiful camping in the North woods. Very private, great fire pit, beautiful forest canopy. We spent our days hiking at Porcupine Mountains (1hr drive) and loved coming back to make dinner and play games. Directions were spot on. (Take screenshots before you go, as cell service is spotty) We would love to come back again in the Fall as the mosquitos were bad in August (bring big spray).

We stayed at Shawn’s land after biking the Winman trails (about 10-15 minutes away). The site was well maintained. You do have to carry your food/cooking stuff a short distance down a hill to the picnic table so accessibility might be a concern.

My family and dog loved our stay here! The property was beautiful, the camp site was well kept with a short manicured trail, and it was about an hour drive to the porcupine mountains. The Adirondack chairs around the fire are a nice touch.
