Nice spot not far from Traverse city to pitch a tent or park a camper! Nice and quiet

Sarah’s site was perfect. I was traveling for an art show and needed a place to pitch a tent. It is a great place to stay while in the area. Enough trees to keep shaded all day. The fire pit and table are a plus. Only bathroom is in house, and I didn’t want to bother anyone early. I would recommend a small marine toilet of your own or just pop over to the gas station a mile away (opens at 630, closes at 10). I was so happy to find anything under $50!! I would definitely come back with my 2 kids. Super safe! I recommend this site if you have a small family on a budget. There is a small play area for littles. There is so much to do in the area that being in someone’s side yard is not a big deal as you will most likely only be there at night to have a campfire. Not really suitable for those looking for a super private spot to party. Perfect for those on a budget and just need a safe place to sleep and enjoy a campfire.

There is a lovely spot to set up the tent to the left of the driveway - a mossy little alcove with a very private fire pit. We loved our stay. Do make sure you understand the bathroom facilities situation. And the location is great, we bike toured several wineries and this was a perfect spot !
