*Our storage shed collapsed due to the snow load so all of our materials are currently stored in the dome, you can still set up camp outside of the dome if you'd like* The geodesic dome is about a 2 minute hike from the entry driveway. This property is the beginning of a permaculture based farm. In the winter, you’ll need snowshoes or cross country skis to get back to the dome. The floor is a thick layer of straw. In the non-frozen months, the ceiling is a little leaky. It’s not insulated, so dress warm. You can have a fire right outside of the dome and we are working on a rocket stove for the inside of the dome. It might be best to pitch a tent inside the dome for added protection.
