We are a farm of all sorts! We have many horses, goats, donkeys, dogs and chickens. Ask if we are available for a short farm tour of the animals, while following COVID guidelines. There is a beautiful trail loop to explore. This is a rustic site about 1/5th of a mile from the main house and barn. We are not doing tours at this time due to COVID restrictions.  The campsite is very quiet with no neighbors in sight. Picnic table and fire ring at site. Water hose available for use by house. Dog friendly only out of the immediate yard, as our dogs are on an invisible fence. We do have 8 dogs on the property. We are easy going and mind our own business. We are happy to accommodate any specific needs if we can. If never hurts to ask!

PLEASE LET US KNOW ARRIVAL TIME AT LEAST 3 HOURS BEFORE ARRIVAL

There is some construction going on in the front of the property, as we are digging a pond! You will only drive-by it, not be camping near it.

We had the pleasure of being Tara and Peter’s first campers! We showed up very late, but they were very willing to work with us. They had an awesome area set up for us to have a fire and pitch our tent right by the mini horses. Upon arrival we were greeted by 7 (!!!!!) dogs, one of which hung out by the fire with us and slept outside our tent throughout the night. In the morning, Peter showed us the goats and told us a little about their rescue, and then directed us to his favorite local diner for brunch. They also had walking trails and offer horseback riding. Super awesome place to stay!!

Tara and Pete, their family and neighbors, all welcomed us into this lovely farm! We loved spending time with the horses, goats, and chickens. There's something great about waking up to the sounds of roosters :-)
It's such a great place to get away and hang out with the animals. We opted for the Camper - it's a must! The've also got a fleet of dogs, but our puppy felt thrilled to be in nature, and so did we!

Tara and Pete were very friendly and welcoming. Too bad the farm tours are off during Covid, looking forward to hopefully making it another time to get the tour.

Tara and Painted Acres were just what I expected and more. The farm is amazing! There are bountiful gorgeous and friendly animals to visit with and she’s doing such good deeds rescuing and caring for them! I wish I lived closer, I would visit all the time. Can’t say enough good things about her property and her, she was very cool.
