Pitch your tent in our woods or fields on our 130 acre organic heirloom vegetable seed farm. Plenty of space for great hiking opportunities and privacy. 12 minutes or less from downtown Ann Arbor. If requested in advance and if we have time, farm produce is for sale and sometimes farm-to-table meals can be arranged in advance for a suggested donation of $15+. The most likely days for a farm lunch would be on Thursdays or Fridays. Please request a farm lunch before arriving and we'll see if we can accommodate you. We also sell fruit trees and vegetable seeds. We are an organic farm so it's very important to practice proper sanitation and not to leave your waste here on our land (no foxholes - do not bury your waste, pack it out!). Additionally, there is a truck stop just 1/2 mile away with showers and bathrooms. We have bundles of firewood for sale for $10 or for larger quantities it's $25/quarter face cord or $100/facecord.
Please keep in mind that we are a working farm not a campground with formal grounds. We offer hipcamp spaces in addition to the many other things we do on and off the farm and we are very busy people so please understand that we may not always be available for tours, meals, produce sales, or special requests.

We camped here this past weekend. The grounds are beautiful and Mike hosted an amazing lunch for our family. Kiwi is the sweetest pup and your fowl were so funny to watch. I started looking for them in the morning as they came by just to watch their antics.
Mike also took care of getting firewood secured and delivered for us (we reimbursed him) as well as having the portapotty we ordered placed in a great location. He was a wonderful host.
We will be back. Thank you so much for hosting us! Really a wonderful experience!

I've camped here twice now. The first time was with my family over Father's Day weekend, the second was a month later for an annual "guys weekend". In both cases it was a great experience.
This was our 14th or 15th year for our guys weekend. We were fed up with the typical campground situation where quiet hours start at 11 p.m., we like to stay up past 11:01. And the ninja rangers that pop up out of the woods telling us that our decibels have exceeded the maximum whisper level normally allotted. So we looked for a better scenario.... and found it.
Mike helped us out with referrals for fire wood delivery (good job Brian!) and a porta potty. We stayed 3 nights and were only able to burn through 5 face cords.... give or take a log. Did I mention we like bonfires?
Another thing for my group was privacy and not having to deal with other campers (especially at 7 a.m. when we just went to sleep). Mike's property is exactly what we were looking for. If you decide to camp here, be respectful of the property. If you bring it in, pack it out. We're coming next year and I want the site clean.
Good job Mike, see you next year.
Mike, thank you so much for your hospitality! Georgia and I had So much fun exploring the farm, and I just loved your dog Kiwi. I still think about how good that lunch was too.

Perfect hideaway. Quiet, peaceful, gracious host. Beautiful scenery. What else is there?
Great camp spot. And very hospitable and friendly guests that are excited to share their land with campers. Beautiful property and fun times! Thank you Michael and Erica.
The farm was beautiful, with delicious fresh produce, and there was a large cleared area surrounded by trees to pitch a tent. Highly recommended.
I arrived with a compact camper van and found a perfect spot in Michael’s adjacent hayfield and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. A bonus for my stay was getting a tour of the farm including seeing how shiitake mushrooms are grown. Great location!
Beautiful site on a beautiful property cared for by some super cool people - farmers make the world go round. I could go on forever but I'll simply say that this is your nice quiet refuge from a town just minutes away. Loved it, thank you so much Mike (and Kiwi!)
