Craig and his family are warm and inviting hosts! Craig was always available via text message if I needed anything while onsite. The property was very secluded with lots of privacy. The access to the private lake and small beach was a wonderful addition! The cabin is a great mix of rustic charm and modern conveniences. The mattress was very comfortable as well!

Absolutely Fantastic! Could not have had a better time! The cabin is in great shape and while it is off grid, the host provides a battery and inverter which provides for a couple of outlets for power. Cabin is very clean and comfortable along with being super private. Views are wonderful! Nice fire pit, and access to the lake with kayaks and a Jon boat. You could spend the entire trip right there and have a blast, there is plenty to do in the area which we took advantage of including Fayette State Historical Site which was also great. Don't hesitate to make a reservation for this cabin, you will not be disappointed.
We had an amazing time in the cabin. It was a truly magical experience to paddle over the lake and see eagles and pelicans fly overhead. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoors.
Where to begin?! This little cabin in the woods was like imagining a small piece of heaven! The woods, the rolling hills, the lake, the cabin, the peace and quiet. And most importantly, the view!! Breathtaking! We will be returning without a doubt. We also couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Thanks for staying with us Wendy. I’m glad you caught those fish!
Beautiful secluded cabin. Very kind hosts who were very communicative.
What a wonderful place to stay! Lake and property are beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing time at a secluded cabin with lots of woods and water to explore. Water was warm and the kayaks the host provided were definitely put to good use. Host was near by and would help if needed but did not bother us. Would absolutely recommend this to my friends looking to get away for a quiet and relaxing vacation In nature!

Thanks Lauren. We were happy to have you and look forward to next time.
This little piece of heaven is literally a dream. Such a sweet gem with an even sweeter family as our host. They borrowed some kids movies from neighbors for our toddler! Neighbors aren't too close in these parts! We went up to Munising one day, but mainly stayed at the cabin. We enjoyed the lanterns during our rainy morning while we made breakfast in the cabin.
Loved the vacation. It is like a dream.
So much fog one morning, It felt like I was on a secluded island in the sky. Woke up floating on clouds, quite literally. Trumpeter Swans singing me morning hymns. Family walk on our private beach. Fresh brewed Java and sunrises and sunsets. Kayaking to visit Pelicans and being sung sweetly to sleep by everything in creation!
So thankful to Craig and Marina for sharing their little sweet place. You were the kindest of hosts and we enjoyed every second. Thank you for the family memories. We love the UP and will be back very soon!

Thanks so much Christine for your wonderful review. And thanks for the lantern and candle, that was very nice :) We hope to see you again soon!
What a wonderful spot! We enjoyed the cabin for 4 nights and it had everything we needed. All we had to pack was food and water. There was plenty of wood for fires, places to walk and the kayaks were an added bonus.

Craig and his spot exceeded expectations. Very hospitable and a surprising amount of amenities for our enjoyment. Bring fishing rods because the pike in Lake Moss are prime!
