Description

Lighthouse views and berry picking make F.J. McLain Campground almost too '50's to handle. Don't let the squeaky clean image discourage you, though; ample opportunities for windsurfing, hunting, and beach combing mean you can still live out your badass dreams in style. It's wedged between Bear Lake and Lake Superior, so we have a feeling you won't run out of relaxing fishing spots, either.

At McLain you will enjoy both beautiful sunrises and sunsets over Lake Superior! And, if you're lucky, the aurora borealis! McLain is also centrally located for exploring the Keweenaw peninsula!
