If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This was the ultimate in “rustic glamping!” The cabin, furnished with beds and furniture, was stripped down (no plumbing and exposed studs) but there was electric and AC, which was welcome on a warm summer night. We arrived late at night, and our host graciously left the lights on for us.
The best part of our stay was it’s proximity to everything! Most importantly it was 15 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes where we hiked and explored, and 30 minutes from Traverse City and Platte River Point, where the warm river water meets the cool lake water. Lots of people floating and rafting down the Platte River.
If you’re looking for a nice “rustic glamping” experience, close to everything this area has offer, then give Born Aglen a try!
