Why sleep in a tent this time of year?? Nice cabins with queen size bed, table and coffee pot! Open meadow and trails with benches through forest, with deer and other wildlife. Large lake and beach nearby, and just minutes to a small town. Very beautiful property. Peaceful walks through the wooded trails.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend and we were pleasantly surprised! We had such a great time! Jerry went went above and beyond during our stay! This was the first time I have ever booked with Hipcamp so I was a little hesitant at first but Jerry made me feel so comfortable answering every question right away and even made me super excited about experiencing one of the cabins that he made himself! His 36 acres are beautiful with trails, a fountain, a stage and he continues to work hard on it to make it even better! The bathroom with shower and toilet were very clean, and he even supplied the fire wood! Everything you need to experience camping like you would up north Michigan style! He gives you plenty of helpful information!!
What a enjoyable experience
I need to correct my review I just wrote the owner’s name is Larry NOT Jerry.
I definitely recommend this place whoever wants to try camping but doesn’t want to invest in camping supplies!!! Also Lake City is the cutest little town with a sandy clean beach!!
Clean, simple, kind space
We had such a wonderful experience there! Larry and his son were super kind and welcoming, and we had all we needed for a simple cabin experience, plus so many extras for an even greater experience. The cabins are new and sweet and rustic and clean with great airflow through the windows, they provided sheets and pillows and towels, an outdoor grill with charcoal and utensils, picnic tables, a fire pit with chairs and wood provided, a little coffee pot and cooler for the room, a simple yet perfect bath house including shampoo and soap, wide open walking spaces on their 36 acres, and even a handmade stage for hopeful future music concerts!! We will definitely be back, and we're already spreading the word. Thank you SO much, Larry!
