Twilight was a great place to rest and recharge every night! It is along two roads south of a neighborhood and traffic hardly rolls by. The terrain is rather hilly and the clumps of cut crass were great kindling for the (large) firepit! There is not much shade during the day, but Ontonagon was great to explore and there was easy access to Lake Superior there. Would go again for a relaxing place to stay and explore!

This was our first hipcamp experience! Our host greeted us when we arrived and was very kind. The farm is so cute and the camp area is across the street. The area is a small open field with everything available for one private campsite, including a grill, table, swing chair, fire pit, and stumps to sit around it. There is a lot of dry grass that makes for good kindling! The area is hilly to drive onto but we were able to find a place for our tent. Night becomes very dark and the nearby road was seldom used at night. Although totally out of the host’s control and because this is the UP, there is wildlife that may come through or near the campsite, most likely birds and coyotes, plus the bugs. The coyotes were loud and woke me up at night, but they kept to themselves and did not bother us! Overall very private and cute campground! Just be aware of the wildlife and bugs no matter where you camp in the UP.

The site was lovely, and very spacious, and Kristi was a great host! Very helpful and friendly, and the site was close to all sorts of good outdoor activities without the hassle of campsite crowds.

Host was great, she greeted us upon arrival and checked in on us! It’s a nice spot of land close to Ontonagon and near the porcupine mountains! Close to the main road but there are basically no cars at night so it was irrelevant. We enjoyed the fire pit, having the site to ourselves, and the grill. We heard some coyotes at night but they didn’t bother us and we expected them in the UP. The stars were phenomenal at night! Overall, we would highly recommend the site as a rustic campsite near the porcupine mountains and Lake Superior!
