Description

Park the car at Upper Branch Bridge, walk downstream one mile to Elk Canoe Campground and don’t look back. Located in the middle of the 66 mile “scenic” portion of the Pere Marquette National Scenic River, Elk Canoe Campground is set back in the forest with neighboring meadows to explore. Cast a line from the banks or paddle downstream to catch salmon, steelhead, brown and rainbow trout to end the day with a well-deserved treat.
