Overall we loved this place. It was quiet, secluded, and had a beautiful view. We had a larger group so we booked both sites and had the whole place to ourselves! It was awesome. Way better than fighting crowds at a State Park campground. We were here in late summer so we weren't swimming, but the kids did play in the sand. The sand was great but the beach itself was pretty mucky. There is a dock where you could jump off in high summer to swim, but this might not be the best option if you were trying to swim with little ones.

We had a great time! Amy was super friendly and helpful. Watching the horses go out at night and come in for the morning was so cool.

Our stay at Cedar Camp was awesome, we had a blast hanging out at the fire and watching the lake. Amy is a great host and the property is really nice. She went above our expectations to ensure our group was comfortable as the weather was cold, windy and rainy. I would definitely return for another weekend!

Nice spot, beautiful lake, clean bathrooms.
Shower was cold, hosts communication was good sometimes, not so good other times.

Great time! Amy was really nice and the campsite was beautiful. The lake is beautiful, and not nearly as cold as Lake Michigan!

If you’re into serenity and nice peeps, I couldn’t imagine a nicer place to camp. The property is extremely well-kept, easily accessed. The grounds look like they’re run super well overall, hope to be back in due time. Thanks again to the owners and employees for their outdoor hospitality :-)

A sweet and safe evening camping right at the lake’s edge. We enjoyed a campfire, musical accompaniment of bull frogs and the largest and most active fireflies I’ve ever seen! It was lovely to see a whole band of horses in the neighboring field in the morning. The campsites are situated in a maybe retired kids overnight camp. Bathrooms and warm shower available in the dining hall. Easy to communicate with the host. Lovely visit!
