About Hansen Hideaway
Out on the back part of our 10 acres. Couple spots to set up a tent, with a frequently used bonfire spot as well. Surrounding weed overgrowth, overhanging trees, and a brush fence that spans the property line provide great privacy. Neighbors rarely use neighboring properties. The property to the south is a designated HAP property, but the hunters typically call it a day when we go out there.
Walk on down and check out the bog/pond (contains 3 species of snail, freshwater pea clam, and crayfish). Most scenic in the spring. Occasional sightings of muskrat, rabbit, raccoon, deer, hawks, owls, and other little critters. Enjoy our short walking trails, white picket fence, and autumn olive archway.
I despise littering out there. Please keep this in mind!
If our property doesn't suit your fancy, I know of plenty of great spots on the 5,000 acres of state land a mile or so to the south of us that I can show you. In this case, tips appreciated. :)
