Anne was fantastic and the site was just as promised! She was quick to respond to my messages and gave me a quick tour of her farm. There are turkeys, chickens, a rooster and sheep as well as a small garden and fruit trees!
Unfortunately, it had been and was continuing to rain and as I have a larger van, I parked near the van to avoid any muddy situations. The camping area near the pond had a fire ring and plenty of space for a few tents. With a fire lit you would feel like you were in the middle of nowhere. There is running water and power in the barn if needed.
Despite the rain I had a wonderful night at the Five Acre Farm. Thank you Anne!
Very lovely place with a variety of fun farm animals around and a serene view. Anne was very responsive, kind, and generous! She even gave us some fresh eggs before we left. Would highly recommend staying here!
Well-kept grassy spot near farms.
A great place to camp. Anne welcomed us after dinner and was quite hospitable. The ground was saturated with water by the pond, so we pitched our two tents on higher ground closer to the chicken trailer. The turkeys and chickens make their usual noises throughout the night and morning, but that was expected on a farm, so was just fine.
